Today’s waffle: the wood art trend

While the trend in wood art may not be as strong as the wallpaper or chevron rug craze, people still seem to be embracing art made out of wood.

Art using wood scraps — whether new or reclaimed — comes in all shapes, sizes and colors:

  1. I like the wood trend. It gives a nice warm feeling to the room, even if it’s just a little bit!

  2. Using wood, especially reclaimed or scrap wood, fits with my motto of repurposing, so I love that this has caught on. My own preference is for art that is more natural-looking an less colourful. I love that
    Duncan Johnson piece, though!
